I use to own this hat until I dropped it and a car ran over the hat breaking the chin strap plastic buckle. This hat has great sun coverage, a somewhat firm front bill to the bucket style hat. It has excellent ear coverage and a drop down one piece material that covers the back of your neck..I am fair skin and recommend this hat for those looking for great sun protection. I tried a different brand as at the time my size was sold out. But I will be returning to Dakine this summer as the product is excellent.
